2010 – Return to Belgium

In 2008, after consultation with Freddy Maertens on the second-generation Flandria bikes, the brothers decided to re-enter the Belgian market. In 2010 a new range of Flandria frames was unveiled to the Belgian public, with the original Flandria logo reinstated. The frames conformed to Belgian race geometries and were designed with pride in Belgium. The bikes, painted in the original 1960s and 1970s colour schemes, were received with great admiration and affection, and attracted considerable TV and media attention. Paul Claeys, Aimé’s son, inspected the new Flandria range and gave his enthusiastic approval.
